Private account data includes verified email, credential and provider records, sessions, security events, policy acceptance, support requests, reports, and coarse anti-abuse network identifiers. We collect an 18+ attestation but not your real birth date.
2 · Public character record
Your fictional citizen dossier and multiplayer actions are public game records. This includes character age, religion, wealth tier, education, biography, portrait, location, affiliations, career, authored content, companies, and transaction or election history. Profiles remain excluded from search-engine indexing during alpha.
3 · Private communications
In-game email is visible to its participants. Moderators cannot browse mailboxes. If a participant reports a message, the evidence snapshot contains that message and at most two adjacent messages on either side.
4 · Uses and processors
Data is used to authenticate accounts, run the shared simulation, prevent abuse, provide support, and meet legal obligations. Cloudflare provides application, database, object-storage, and network services. Resend processes transactional verification and security email.
5 · Retention and security
Credentials are salted and hashed; action tokens are stored only as hashes. Operational, financial, election, moderation, and multiplayer ledgers may be retained for integrity and legal obligations. Temporary data exports expire automatically.
6 · Your controls
You can request an export, deactivate your account, or schedule irreversible anonymization from account settings. Anonymization deactivates access immediately, allows seven days to cancel, then removes authentication and identifying profile data while preserving game records beneath a Former Citizen tombstone.
7 · Legal requests
Applicable law may provide access, correction, deletion, objection, or appeal rights subject to lawful exceptions. Submit a verified request through Support. We will explain any data that must be retained.
